Last year was a year of strategic growth where we focused on the sustainability and future of the African American Roundtable. We made a major impact in Milwaukee and beyond. By the numbers, we:

• Collected 700 petition signatures in our fight for participatory budgeting in Milwaukee

• Engaged 78 Milwaukee youth during listening sessions and youth-led projects

• Supported 50 Black-owned businesses and Black-led organizations

• Onboarded and trained 27 new members 

We also secured five new funders that supported our work around creating a Milwaukee where Black people can walk in their power and all residents, regardless of zip code, have the freedom to thrive.
