We dare to dream of a Milwaukee where all residents have the freedom to thrive.

The African-American Roundtable (AART) is an assembly of partners led by and serving Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s Black community. AART exists to empower and organize our community to transform policies so that Black people can thrive and live at their greatest potential.

Empowering Our Communities

We know that empowered communities are unstoppable communities. Through our Leadership Development Cohort and other community initiatives, we are cultivating the next generation of leaders in Milwaukee.

Organizing for Change

We are pushing for radical change in our communities and know that one of the best ways to get it is through organizing. We are fighting for a Milwaukee where all residents have the power to thrive through adequate employment, housing, health care and violence prevention.

Showing Our Power

We are community leaders, activists and changemakers. We are stronger together and know that when we fight, we win. We regularly collaborate with groups and individuals to push Milwaukee forward.
